Many thanks to all of you who participated in Bel|Rio's Earth Day Celebration this past week.  The music was great, the seed exchange successful and Sandy Goodson's Verde Natural Florals was a
big hit.

Speaking of being good to your Mother...Mother's Day is just around the corner.  Make a date with your Mom and Mother-In-Law for Sunday, May 10th and treat your family to a night of great food and the soft Gypsy Jazz sounds of The Olivarez Trio.   Reservations are recommended 434-979-5299.

Described as “energy blues,” the Deanie Blues Band features Dennis Johnson, lead singer and harmonica player; Jay Hall, on bass; Dennis Jaeger on lead guitar; Rick Hill, on guitar; and James “Cub” Mosby on drums.  Killer blues, tons of energy, and the charm and attitude it takes to pull it off with style. Thank you for supporting the band with a $5 cover. Show starts at 10pm.

The Gladstones - Benefit for Children, Youth and Family Services
Charlottesville legends Charlie Pastorfield and Bob Girard; they have “got it” now more than ever.  A portion of the cover charge will go to Children, Youth and Family Services.  New music devotes and seasoned fans alike are brought together for a night of some of the best rock and roll anywhere.  Show starts at 10pm and there is a $5 cover.

Dave's Supper Club featuring the Olivarez Trio.
This is Classic European Cafe Music with a D"jango Reinhardt sound that will bring out the gypsy spirit in you.  Starting at 6:30pm it is a wonderful accompaniment for your favorite meal at Bel|Rio.  You may want to make a reservation for this popular evening by calling 979-5299.  There is no cover charge.

Born and raised in Virginia, Josh performs all along the East Coast.  Playing a variety of instruments he does solo acts as well as performances with various groups.  Don't miss this multi-talented hometown musician.

Chickenhead Blues Band
Charlottesville's premiere boogie woogie dance band.  Veteran musicians Aric van Brocklin, guitar; Skip Haga,  keyboards;  Johnny Gilmore, drums;  Andy Rowland, sax and Victor Brown on bass have got the right recipe to turn your evening into a listening and dancing joyride.   Show starts at 10pm and there is a $5 cover charge.

Kurt Crandall and Fulton Patrick
Chicago Blues, West Coast Swing and Kansas City Jump contemporary in its themes but old school in its sounds and attitude.  These two musicians have created a lot of loyalty in the community over the years.  The consummate professionals with a pizzazz that just won't quit.
